Hi, I'm Mattie, a pretty, smart girl with a hankerin' to move to a warmer climate! My current family is a busy one with lots going on, and their not-very-tall fence isn't enough to keep me in. When they are gone and other dogs in the neighborhood wander by, I want to get out to see what's happening--so I end up spending much of my time tethered, just to keep me from getting into trouble. A taller fence and more time to be inside with the humans is the situation I'm hoping to find. I get along with the cats in my current family, and I like other dogs if they're friendly. Really, I'm just a big lovebug--can't you just picture me sitting on your lap? Besides that, I have some obedience training and know how to behave nicely when you let me know what you want me to do.
