Hello, I'm Maya. SNIPPP rescued me from the animal shelter, but now I'm in a SNIPPP foster home and the nice people here are getting to know me to find out what kind of gal I am. I get to sleep in a crate, and I really like that; it's a good feeling for me to have some safe, secure spots to get into to curl up and relax. They think I would become a lap/couch dog in an instant, if they let me, but they've found out that I take direction really well. It seems like I need a home where I won't be harshly reprimanded -- I'm just too sensitive for that. Maybe I'd go well with an older couple who just wants a loving companion around. So far I seem to be house trained. Anyhow, even though it's great here with these nice people and their dogs, I'd be happy to get to my permanent new home so I can make plans for my future, you know how that is? And I think I'd really rather be the only dog in the family, please. If you're the people who want to love me and give me a forever home, won't you please give SNIPPP a call? By the way, I am up-to-date on my vaccinations, heartworm negative, and they give me those tasty, chewy medicine things to make sure I stay that way!
