Sandy has been in a home with at least two other dogs at all times.  Strange (foster) dogs have come and gone and Sandy has never shown any aggression.  It seems, however, that she enjoys being an only dog after all this time!  SHE WOULD LOVE A HUMAN, MALE OR FEMALE WHO IS HOME MOST OF THE TIME.  Sandy is left alone sometimes for a couple days and nights with access to the whole house and has never as an adult done any damage while unsupervised.  She will, however, attempt to “escape” when left alone.  She needs a secure fenced yard.  She seems indifferent to strangers coming and going, but will bark at the gate initially.  She avoids small children when they are around; has never shown any aggression.  Sandy enjoys lying around the house or in the yard chewing on a bone.  She is very mellow and sweet.  She has been boarded frequently and is adored by all.  Sandy is heartworm negative and on prevention.
